We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking collaboration that highlights the universal importance of equity and inclusion. The Canadian High Commission in Pakistan is preparing for the arrival of our very own Elaine Alec, CEO at Naqsmist Storytellers Inc. and founder of Cultivating Safe Spaces, from the Syilx (Okanagan) and Secwépemc (Shuswap) Nations of British Columbia, Canada.

What’s happening?
Naqsmist means “many coming together as one,” and our mission is “To accelerate the human collective’s understanding that we can do and think differently by remembering who we are.” Elaine's leadership in this space has transformed Naqsmist into a platform that promotes understanding, respect, and systemic change. This global engagement is a testament to our mission and vision, showcasing the power of unity and shared knowledge.
This pre-launch marks the beginning of an exciting journey where Elaine will partner with the Punjab Provincial Government and communities across Pakistan in cross-cultural exchanges. This collaboration aims to share her extensive knowledge and lessons learned from the Syilx and Secwépemc lens, merging Indigenous wisdom with modern practices.
